I forgot to tell you that I am using Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU and the led in question has the following attributes
light.aeotec_zwa001_led_bulb_6_multiwhite_level_2 | on | brightness: 90 node_id: 4 value_index: 0 value_instance: 1 value_id: 72057594109853697 friendly_name: Family Room Light supported_features: 49 |

I have the same problem with zwave Zipato Bulb2, no color anymore
I have upgraded to 0.85.0 which supposedly solved this but it does not. The sliding bar is there but it does not change the color.
I am running 0.89.2 and unfortunately my "Aeotec ZW098 LED Bulb" is not correctly showing up as having a white channel on the slider card.
I am however able to send it manual commands:
{
"entity_id": "light.sun_level", "white_value": 255, "brightness_pct": 10
}
To have it turn on the bright white. I have yet to figure out how to get it to go into warm white, which the bulb also supports.
Aeotec ZW121 LED Strip
HAv 0.90.2
Same issue as bertjwregeer, no white color temp slider.
I would like to update that with 0.90.2 I do get the white color temp slider on my devices, so the issue is resolved from my standpoint.
@bertjwregeer I have the slider too but it does not work. Which bulb you have? Does it work?
"Aeotec ZW098 LED Bulb" as I mentioned in my previous comment. I am able to switch between the two color temperatures without issue.
hass.io 0.93.1 seeing this issue with my ZW098.
Has anyone tried zwave2mqtt addon if is light support better?
Out of the question for me as I'm using a Vera Plus as my controller.

Please do not change the ticket. The problem is still there.

After version 0.109.1 still there. No work around or whatsoever.
I have the same problem with the Aeotec ZW098. No white channel is detected.
Manually attempting to manipulate it with scenes using white_value or color_temp does absolutely nothing.
Home assistant detects is a color device and indeed I can manipulate the colors, the white channel cannot be changed.
The result is that this bulb can only display colored light. To gain a 'white' color I have to manipulate the colors to emulate this, and the brightness is laughably low like this.
Within the Vera Plus controller the white channel allows me to make the light 4x as bright.

Still there
I have the exact same issue with a ZWA001 LED Bulb 6 Multi-White. It only shows RGB sliders and no white balance.

Is there anything i can do, provide, to help solving this issue? (Excuse the shortness, i've never contributed on GITHUB, i would like to start being active)
