Issue with GE 14294 in wall dimmer

The problem

After updating to Core 0.113.3 and OZW 0.5.2 I am unable to control GE 14294 dimmers using HA/Lovelace. When attempting to switch lights on/off or adjust brightness nothing happens and nothing is logged. Performing the same actions directly through the OZW web console works as expected. Paired a fresh GE 14294 to verify and the same behavior was observed. All other ZWave devices behave as expected.

Environment

Home Assistant Core release with the issue: 0.113.3
Last working Home Assistant Core release (if known): 0.112.1 and OZW 4.4
Operating environment (OS/Container/Supervised/Core): Hassio on RPI 3B+
Integration causing this issue: OZW

Additional information

State information is accurately reflected in HA when the switch is manipulated manually.
