miio ChuangmiIr integration ui #51323

The problem

Hi all. Since few last updates my xiaomi ChuangmiIr ir remote got an issue

In the log i got this "Loading Xiaomi Miio Switch via platform setup is deprecated. Please remove it from your configuration."

I know, there is a Breaking Changes with miio https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2021/03/03/release-20213/#breaking-changes But the problem is when i try to add it use ui. There is no ir remote devices from the list. So i can't do that. Hope to receive support.

I have the same problem, I can't add my Xiaomi remote Model: chuangmi.remote.v2, and from integration menu I can't select this model.

Can there be a work around this?

Hi, sorry for the delay. Alas, I don't know much about how the ui flow works, but maybe @starkillerOG has an idea?

I am currently on vacation, so have limitted time to work on this. But I will do what I can.

Could you post the YAML config that u use?

The remote platform looks unchanged, so it should still work. The error logs you posted seem to refer to the switch platform, which is weared since you schould be using the remote platform. So I am guessing it is just an issue with your configuration.
