We get compensated for the production of "green energy" through the issuance of green certificates for each amount of energy produced by our photovoltaic panels. The issued green certificates can later be traded on a specific market. The revenue from the green certificates is very significant in the overall TCO calculation for our solar energy production installation, up to 0.291€ per kWh produced in our case. This compensation is granted independently of the amount of energy self-consumed or injected to the grid.
In current HA version, the energy cost (or revenue) can only be assigned at energy grid flows level. Would it be possible to define a cost (or revenue) at the production/sources level, and sum-up the calculated values in the energy dashboard?
With the current setup, I'm unable to factor in the compensation for those issued green certificates where energy was self-consumed, which amounts to approximately 35% of our production.
