Hey there @dmulcahey, @adminiuga, @puddly, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (zha) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks! (message by CodeOwnersMention)

Interesting, same issue occurred at my setup today as well, 2 Aqara temp sensors went suddenly offline.

I have 6 of this and all have working great for over 3 years. My network is having one backbone id IKEA outlets and is working great with all ma aqara sensors. I was putting 2 LIDL plugs on the balcony and later changing the battery on the balcony sensor and its start leaving some times every months and need pressing the button for getting it online. Before it was having one IKEA CWS1 as parent and was not having any problems but now its the LIDL plugs that is the best router the device is thinking and its not. The IKEA CWS1 have getting firmware update from ZLL to Zigbee 3 but i have not trying forcing it using it that i normally is doing with all Aqara sleepers for not getting problem with them.

Then have then online do one re scan with the visualization and look on the network map with parent they is using and if its one bad one resetting the sensor and open only the router that is good so its using it as parent and testing if its working better then Xiaomi / Aqara sleepers is never jumping to one new parent instead only leaving the network is its not like it.

Also having issues with my Aqara sensors losing functionality after upgrade to 2022.7.7 (from 2022.7.1). Reloading the integration seemed to fix, but just added a few more sensors and every time I added a new one, I had to manually reload integration.

Older generations of aqara sensors (non Zigbee 3.0) are known to drop from the network if the parent they are connected through follows the spec to the letter. Closing this as there is nothing we can do in ZHA for this.
