Honeywell Lyric integration: 502 Bad Gateway when adding integration / OAUTH2 permission [Resolved] #81333

Closed Chef-de-IT closed 1 year ago

Chef-de-IT commented 2 years ago

The problem

HA UI > Integrations > Discovered: Honeywell Lyric > "Configure" "Login" "Allow" It tries to open the link below ( [.....] replaces middles of long strings) and reports "502 Bad Gateway" instead of returning to HA

https://api.honeywell.com/oauth2/app/acl?apikey=%20iJ8pBTppWFyBpnpCcD3YbNvERgqi6fuE&app=Tocqueville&state=eyJhbGciOiJ [.....] 1MI&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.home-assistant.io%2Fredirect%2Foauth&source=3A [.....] 9E33E97A&lnsReg=true&futureDevices=null

Issue may have to be on Honeywell side or the way the HA redirect is specified.

Hey there @timmo001, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (lyric) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Code owner commands Code owners of `lyric` can trigger bot actions by commenting: - `@home-assistant close` Closes the issue. - `@home-assistant rename Awesome new title` Change the title of the issue. - `@home-assistant unassign lyric` Removes the current integration label and assignees on the issue, add the integration domain after the command.

What does it mean "not planned"? This integration is dead?

Chef-de-IT commented 1 year ago

Is nobody else having this issue or everyone is using a different integration?

I had this issue, but it was user error. I had the resideo app setup, as well as the developer acct (two different user/passwords). When logging into the integration I assumed it was the developer login which gave me the 502 error. Once I used the resideo app login for the integration it worked fine.

I had the same credentials, and there used to be an error as reported, but as of yesterday at least it'd started working just fine! I'd reported this issue to Honeywell and they appear to have fixed it.
