Hey there @rytilahti, @thegardenmonkey, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (tplink
) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

The integration supports only devices that are controllable using the kasa app, so I'm closing this. I think there are one or two custom integrations providing support for tapo ones, but I cannot vouch for them personally.
The problem
Hi, Setup is: Home Assistant 2022.12.8 on 192.168.0.100/24 Tapo L530E 2.0 is configured to 10.10.19.53 responds to pings from HA network. It is also configured in the Tapo app and can be used. Hardware 2.0 Firmware 1.0.9
Assumption: Home Assistant Auto-Discovery does not work, because I know that there is no multicast routing between the networks.
Adding it manually via TP-Link Kasa Smart integration and its ip is also not possible. Error: Failed to connect
