The problem

Hi, Setup is: Home Assistant 2022.12.8 on 192.168.0.100/24 Tapo L530E 2.0 is configured to 10.10.19.53 responds to pings from HA network. It is also configured in the Tapo app and can be used. Hardware 2.0 Firmware 1.0.9

Assumption: Home Assistant Auto-Discovery does not work, because I know that there is no multicast routing between the networks.

Adding it manually via TP-Link Kasa Smart integration and its ip is also not possible. Error: Failed to connect

Hey there @rytilahti, @thegardenmonkey, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (tplink) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Code owner commands Code owners of `tplink` can trigger bot actions by commenting: - `@home-assistant close` Closes the issue. - `@home-assistant rename Awesome new title` Change the title of the issue. - `@home-assistant reopen` Reopen the issue. - `@home-assistant unassign tplink` Removes the current integration label and assignees on the issue, add the integration domain after the command.

The integration supports only devices that are controllable using the kasa app, so I'm closing this. I think there are one or two custom integrations providing support for tapo ones, but I cannot vouch for them personally.
