how can i get the older firmware? i,m on 5.3.6 now

dimadusk commented 1 year ago

If it shows 404 then there is no old firmware for your cam, sorry buddy

robigombek commented 1 year ago

Yes there is if you tell me a full device model I can generate link for old firmware. You can look device model in About in mobile Ezviz settings IMG_20230612_185601

Or just edit following link with your device model: https://usdownload.ezvizlife.com/device/device model/2.0/device model.dav

For my camera C6N firmware link will be:

https://usdownload.ezvizlife.com/device/CS-C6N-A0-1C2WFR-KJDS/2.0/CS-C6N-A0-1C2WFR-KJDS.dav

Then just update firmware in Ezviz PC app and rtsp will be enabled.

Its not defect its EZviz doing on purpose they don't want us to use 3rd party software with their cameras. All camera models new firmware disables rtsp.

Hello Dimadusk! I used your link for C6N, downloaded the file, upgraded via EZVIS Studio and nothing happened. I still have firmware version 5.3.2 build 230215. Can you tell us how this link works, what firmware base it is and why it doesn't download older firmware? This is a small problem with the C6N. I have a big problem with the DP2C door viewer, which after updating the firmware to version V5.3.3 build 230116 lost the RTSP stream completely. I can download the soft with your link, but will it work? How will his version be?

I have a big problem with the DP2C door viewer, which after updating the firmware to version V5.3.3 build 230116 lost the RTSP stream completely. I can download the soft with your link, but will it work? How will his version be?

  1. In my case firmware is v5.3.0 build 220428
  2. Link downloads previous/older firmware before last update, which means it should have rtsp support, its official link with official older firmware, nothing has been modified. Since its official theoretically Ezviz can change file there anytime, its impossible to control their link.
  3. You have to do full reset after upgrading
  4. Also make sure you connect your phone/pc with camera on same wifi network try to scan port on camera's ip to see what is open. In my case 4 ports opened: rtsp 554, 9010, 8200, 8000
  5. Also make sure camera is US or EU region, firmware from this link will not work if camera is for china region.
  6. Just edit link and replace camera model with your camera model 2 times P.S. I experimented with changing 2.0 to different versions but it only works on 2.0 for some reason, changing it to 1.0 gives "url not found" but you can try maybe for your camera model it will work. And C6N has different variations make sure you put exactly your camera model exactly as it shows in Ezviz app. https://usdownload.ezvizlife.com/device/your camera model/2.0/your camera model.dav

If you camera for China region use this link: https://download.ys7.com/device/full-model-name/2.0/full-model-name.dav

As for DP2C you can try this firmware on your own risk: https://www.filemail.com/d/vgdgjmsuxmmyeor

Should give you v5.3.3 build 220516

dimadusk commented 1 year ago

Also guys dont hesitate writing to Ezviz support and just request to send you old firmware, I did ask to send me firmware and they did IMG_20230705_152937

They will ask questions such as serial number to confirm you own it, I told them I have problem connecting to my wifi Router with very strong and complex password while other cameras Ezviz connect to it just fine, they asked to try connecting to a different one, then I told them I tried but it didn't work too so I asked to send me very first firmware to test if new firmware has errors. Took me about few weeks in total they respond really slow sometimes

Dimadusk, finally found some time and started playing with DP2C. I used your first link and downloaded the soft version V5.3.3 build 211109. I loaded it onto the microSD card, completely rebooted the device, uploaded the soft, restarted DP2C again and it worked! RTSP stream is working again and I can store event recordings on my Synology NAS too! Thank you for your knowledge and willingness to share it! That was it! You are genius!

https://www.filemail.com/d/sdtzbasgbrcckgb

Thank you!!! :) So if I understand correctly, I rename the file to ezviz.dav, copy it to an empty microsd formatted in fat32 Turn off the device, insert the card Do I turn on the device and wait for the update procedure that should appear on the screen? And then I reboot and it should be RTSP active again? Is there also a way to keep port 554 always open and reachable?

Yes, format sd card to fat32, copy firmware rename it ezviz.dav, turn on camera wait 3 minutes, should blink 3 times when finished and then you will see it in app

5.2.4 build 211115 has rtsp support my C3A has same version and build after reverting firmware from the link and I use it in synology atm, you can check that it has rtsp by port scanner App (you can use any) IP of the cam. Make sure you turn off autosleep Use this to get video from the cam: rtsp://admin:veification_code@192.168.1.***:554/h_264 Also download pc app some people said you have to run it first then rtsp will be enabled or need to be enabled in advance settings, since I downgraded my firmware through Ezviz pc app maybe because of that it started to work right away.

No. Even if they look the same its different model and each firmware is for specific model. I would not recommend you to flash that firmware on cp4 because it might break your camera.

I tried so many things in the app and in the Windows tool. I can't activate RTSP. The network scan can't find the DP2C. Home Assistant found the camera but I got an error after submitting the credentials form. I changed the AppConfig.ini on Windows but can't see the advanced settings.

Any chance to get RTSP on for this device? It's very useless without RTSP. I want to integrate it to HA and ZoneMinder.

You have "auto hibernate" enabled in ezviz app, you need to turn that off

kankadev commented 8 months ago

Do you mean the "working mode"? I have "User customization" enabled there. There are more options like "High Performance".

I mean sleep mode. Try PC App maybe there is option to turn it off, but maybe its the same as High Performance (always on mode) for some models. I use official Ezviz integration in Home Assistant and it has that option. IMG_20231010_213906 Feel free to experiment)

For example in C3A its called Hibernate In BC2 High Perfomance IMG_20231010_214408

try to use the ispy generator link acoording the model of camera:

I cannot add the EZVIZ CP4 door camera to HomeAssistant. Enter RTSP credentials for EZVIZ camera BA4626682 with IP- 192.168.1.50, Invalid domain name or IP address. but google home connected without problems and has access to online broadcasting from the door camera. Can anyone help? Thank.

Ho provato tante cose nell'app e nello strumento Windows. Voglio integrarlo in HA e ZoneMinder.
