unifiprotect Select not providing full list of Viewport Live Views on the configured NVR #87577

Closed clmarti closed 1 year ago

The problem

Initially new Live Views were added to the ViewPort attached to the NVR configured in the unifiprotect integration.

Subsequently, the Home Assistant server was restarted to import the new options for use in an Automation. When the following YAML was executed an error dialog ("Error running action...Unknown error") was displayed.

Expecting there was a typo, the Select entity was inspected in Developer Tools which seems to show that the Select options are not being updated when changes are made in Unifi Protect.

Likely a dupe of https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/85078 (not a valid issue/expected behavior). Please provide your diagnostics data to confirm.

First time using this forum. Do I drag the diagnostics file to a post here or is there another method?

clmarti commented 1 year ago

Same issue as #85078 with needing to explicitly grant other users ViewPort rights.
