iaqualink Failed to refresh system resets switch states #89838

The problem

The temporary fix (PR) for https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/88033#event-8697166330 has made the iaqualink integration functional again (thank you!). This issue is to note that when the integration does error and logs Failed to refresh system this seems to result in a reset of the state of the switches i.e if the Pool Pump is on, it is getting turned off.

This was initially reported in https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/82497#issue-1458319393 and I'm still not 100% sure if it is local to my situation somehow or an issue that other users are experiencing.

I'm unable to get the integration to work at all with the following errors upon setup:

@Exit2Studios that looks like a different error, you may want to open a new issue.
