Same issue with Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 (zhimi.airp.mb5)
Just bought Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4, and can confirm the same issue.
Same issue here, any turnaround while waiting this to be fixed?

I have the same issue. In the Xiaomi Home app there is no "Bright" option, only Off/Dim/On. Is perhaps the phrasing of the command being sent wrong?
Home Assistant 2023.8.4 Supervisor 2023.08.1 Operating System 10.5 Frontend 20230802.1 - latest
I can confirm. The device rejects Bright state and switches to Off. I tried sending On via service but as this is a select entity, this doesn't work.

Hi, I can confirm, that nothing has changed. Switching to "Bright" state results in turning off the display of purifier.
