Elk M1 no longer integrating after upgrade to Core 2023.5.1 #92597

The problem

After upgrading to 5.2 from 4.1 was unable to connect to the Elk M1 The Elk M1 is a key integration to my HA set up as I am using multiple alarm panel sensors as triggers of home automation

What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

core-2023-4.1

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant OS

Unable to connect Downgrading back to 4.1 solved the problem
