after upgrading to 2023.8 my Frontier Silicon SIRD 14 C1 lost all its entities.

Similar issue here.

• Hama IT900MBT (ir-mmi-FS2026-0600-0002_V2.12.23.EX70630-1B7) lost all its entities some releases ago. Last working version was maybe 2023.5, I'm not sure.
• SIRD 14 C2 (ir-mmi-FS2026-0500-0388_V2.12.16c.EX68483-1RC15) never had any entities in HA.

Currently, therefore, neither of the two devices is controllable in HA.

Tried to create debug logs, but all I see is this line:

Both my devices have public IPv4 addresses. If it helps, I can open the firewall accordingly so that they can be reached from the Internet from agreed IP addresses.

Hello, I have a SIRD 14 D1 and after the update to 2023.8.x it finds the radio, but it has no entities and cannot be controlled. Going back to 2023.7.3 everything is OK

same here. My Sangean WFR-28C does not show entities anymore since 2023.8.x or late 2023.7.x I can add the device in the Frontier Silicon integration, but no entities appear, so I can't control my radio anymore.

Looks like the fix will be included in HA 2023.9 (thanks, Thijs!). Meanwhile you can install the fixed version as a custom component. Just extract the frontier_silicon folder into the config/custom_components folder and restart HA. frontier_silicon.zip Make sure to remove the folder before upgrading to HA 2023.9 next month!
