Open mat4444 opened 2 years ago

mat4444 commented 2 years ago

Checklist

Describe the issue you are experiencing

In the integration configuration page, it's possible to display the ignored and disabled integrations. However, the boxes to indicate whether these integrations should be displayed never show the tick marks. See the below video for a visual description of the problem

https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/53400792/157474500-6e68304c-7a72-4598-95e8-8b2899a0fbfd.mp4

Describe the behavior you expected

The tick marks should be displayed when the respective boxes have been clicked.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Go to configuration -> Integrations
  2. Click on the hamburger menu (top right)
  3. Click on "display ignored integrations"
  4. Click again on the hamburger menu and observe the tick mark is not here.

I'm not able to reproduce this. What browser are you using?

mat4444 commented 2 years ago

I'm using Chrome Version 99.0.4844.51 (Official Build) (64-bit)

mat4444 commented 2 years ago

Do you need additional infos ? The bug is still present in 2022.3.4 and I double checked : it is present in Edge and Firefox as well.

mat4444 commented 2 years ago

Hello, Sorry to insist but the issue is still there in 2022.5.3, both in the android app and various web browsers (Chrome, Firefox etc.). Can you suggest how to provide debug logs to help fix that? Thanks,

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. mat4444 commented 1 year ago

No, this issue has not been resolved yet. I am still observing the exact same issue described in the first message (on 2022.8.2)

Still an issue on 2022.11.1

kramttocs commented 1 year ago

Still an issue on 2022.12.1

kramttocs commented 1 year ago

Solely use Chrome on Windows. Just now tried Edge (first time ever hitting HA with it) and I see the same issue.

mat4444 commented 1 year ago

Confirm it's still an issue on version 2022.12.8, with Firefox, Chrome and Edge on Windows

karwosts commented 1 year ago

Interesting I'm seeing the reverse problem. The checkbox is checked, but it never goes unchecked. Also sometimes I see a checkbox for a split second, but then it disappears.

disabled_checkbox

This is in my pretty up to date dev environment (~12/30/22)

tomlut commented 1 year ago

Still an issue 2023.1

ildar170975 commented 1 year ago

I noticed here that I do not see the issue. What is my mistake, what shall I check?

karwosts commented 1 year ago

ildar If you toggle them do they toggle correctly? See my video clip above for what I mean.

ildar170975 commented 1 year ago

@karwosts

  1. Open Integrations page. All integrations which are NOT disabled or ignored are displayed:

And these toggles are OFF by default:

  1. Set "ignored" to ON. Ignored are displayed:

изображение

  1. Set "ignored" to OFF. Ignored are NOT displayed - same picture as on the step 1.

  2. Set "disabled" to ON. One (only) disabled integration is displayed:

изображение

  1. Set "disabled" to OFF. Disabled is NOT displayed - same picture as on the step 1.

I am using HA container, could it be a difference?

kpine commented 1 year ago

No, I use HA container with the same problem.

tomlut commented 1 year ago

I just tried it with the default theme (just in case). Still seeing the issue. Took a few clicks of the check boxes but they still stopped working as expected after the first three clicks.

mat4444 commented 1 year ago

@ildar170975 What you describe works for me, however the checkboxes do not remain ticked. They are always unticked, no matter which one you click

tomlut commented 1 year ago

So you do have the issue. That is exactly the issue described in both this and my issue.

It’s not about the hide / show functionality that works. It’s about the check boxes not displaying correctly.

ildar170975 commented 1 year ago

BTW, in my case when some checkbox must be OFF - I see this:

These check boxes still do not update correctly.

core 2024.3

tomlut commented 3 months ago

This is fixed in the 2024.4 beta release.

karwosts commented 3 months ago

This is fixed in the 2024.4 beta release.

It still looks buggy to me in 2024.4

tomlut commented 3 months ago

Really?

I just did a really quick test on the new entities table and it seemed to work as expected. Let me have another look.

karwosts commented 3 months ago

Try the integrations page.

tomlut commented 3 months ago

Ah, yep. Still an issue.
