This seems to be an old issue. https://community.home-assistant.io/t/trying-to-use-logbook-card-in-panel-view/494450 I am surprised that this issue is just registered (could be some old ones?).

A workaround (rather brute-force): https://community.home-assistant.io/t/card-mod-add-css-styles-to-any-lovelace-card/120744/3946
