There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Looking at the numeric state automation trigger, entering a float with >1 decimal places in the above / below field will result in a visual validation error in Firefox, but not in Chrome. I think this is related to https://github.com/home-assistant/frontend/issues/13677 (the tooltip says 🇩🇪: "Bitte wählen Sie einen gültigen Wert. Die zwei nächsten gültigen Werte sind 0,3 und 0,4." 🇺🇸🇬🇧: "Please select a valid value. The two nearest valid values are 0.3 and 0.4.")
