KIX300 or KIG300? #27039

Feedback

From my reading of the VELUX product lineup, it seems that the KIX300 is a kit containing a VELUX ACTIVE indoor climate sensor (KLA 300), a VELUX ACTIVE departure switch (KLN 300) and a gateway, which appears to be identical to the stand-alone KIG300 Gateway.

As it's the gateway which pairs with HomeKit and provides the link to the sensor data, could this be confirmed, or at least mentioned in the KIX300 section? At the moment searching for information on whether the KIG300 gateway integrates with Home Assistant is a somewhat circuitous path ending in a strong "maybe".

Hey there @julius2342, mind taking a look at this feedback as it has been labeled with an integration (velux) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Code owner commands Code owners of `velux` can trigger bot actions by commenting: - `@home-assistant close` Closes the feedback. - `@home-assistant rename Awesome new title` Renames the feedback. - `@home-assistant reopen` Reopen the feedback. - `@home-assistant unassign velux` Removes the current integration label and assignees on the feedback, add the integration domain after the command.

@Julius2342 Sorry, I get that the "this integration does not provide support for X" section is a bit tricky for you as the maintainer to have to deal with, but it'd massively simplify search results and confusion around what the current options for velux integrations are.
