Solar energy 100% returned to grid #28647

Open FraserOz opened 10 months ago

Feedback

If I put total solar in "return to grid" on Energy dashboard it subtracts it from "Grid consumption". If I don't and just put it in "Solar production" the calculations look ok but the "Energy distribution" diagram shows all solar flowing to Home and adds it to home consumption in the diagram. In the diagram it should show all solar flowing to the grid but not affecting the amount from the grid at all. The cost of electricity from the grid is 23c/kWh and the feed in tariff for solar production is 44c/kWh.

There has been no action. I need the Solar action in sources section of energy dashboard not be deducted from the total as ALL solar returns to grid. Any help appreciated.Sent from my Galaxy -------- Original message --------From: "github-actions[bot]" @.> Date: 20/10/23 16:58 (GMT+10:00) To: "home-assistant/home-assistant.io" @.> Cc: FraserOz @.>, Author @.> Subject: Re: [home-assistant/home-assistant.io] Solar energy 100% returned to grid (Issue #28647) There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently.
