Unable to collect statistics on entity tasmota.sensor_energy_yesterday #28917

Feedback

I have two houses and in each have home assistant running. Between the two I must have about 20 Sonoff S31 smart plugs on which I have installed tasmota. I am using the Tasmota integration. I can display all the entities from these tasmota plugs on dashboard using the entities card. But when I choose the statistics graph card -- I am not able to use the sensor.tasmota_energy_yesterday entity -- it is not accessible. The statistics graph card can display entities: sensor.tasmota_energy_power, sensor.tasmota_energy_total, sensor.tasmota_energy_today, sensor.tasmota_energy_current, and sensor.tasmota_energy_apparentpower. But the energy_yesterday entity is not available (nor are the many other tasmota entities -- but I am not interested in displaying them.)

I find this explanation on the web for entities not displayed in the statistics graph card. https://www.home-assistant.io/more-info/statistics/ How can I solve this?

Hey there @emontnemery, mind taking a look at this feedback as it has been labeled with an integration (tasmota) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Code owner commands Code owners of `tasmota` can trigger bot actions by commenting: - `@home-assistant close` Closes the feedback. - `@home-assistant rename Awesome new title` Renames the feedback. - `@home-assistant reopen` Reopen the feedback. - `@home-assistant unassign tasmota` Removes the current integration label and assignees on the feedback, add the integration domain after the command.
