Opentherm gateway integration floor temp reference #30725

Feedback

Hi, in the opentherm gateway integration documentation page, there is a reference to floor temperature, which rounds temperature values down. In the context of home heating, floor temp is generally used to describe an underfloor heating sensor. A better term for what the integration is doing is "temperature rounding control"

Hey there @mvn23, mind taking a look at this feedback as it has been labeled with an integration (opentherm_gw) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Code owner commands Code owners of `opentherm_gw` can trigger bot actions by commenting: - `@home-assistant close` Closes the feedback. - `@home-assistant rename Awesome new title` Renames the feedback. - `@home-assistant reopen` Reopen the feedback. - `@home-assistant unassign opentherm_gw` Removes the current integration label and assignees on the feedback, add the integration domain after the command. - `@home-assistant add-label needs-more-information` Add a label (needs-more-information) to the feedback. - `@home-assistant remove-label needs-more-information` Remove a label (needs-more-information) on the feedback.

While I agree that the terminology may be confusing, the solution is probably not a change in the wording. There has been some discussion in core about removing the feature altogether, after which it will be removed from the docs as well.
