I’m not as qualified as you are, so possibly it’s a bad Idea, but this happened to me way too often.
When HomeKit needs to pair the Bridge again and I haven’t had the same device IDs again, I had to sort all 120 devices to their rooms again. So while reading the documentation I thought: why not setup one home bridge instance per room? While adding the Bridges I can then add a bunch of devices automatically to the correct room and won’t get in trouble with the Limit of 150 devices. Just Automations have to be reconfigured again. So if the idea won’t cause problems, you could put that as a suggestion to the documentation.
I’m not sure if the interface lets me use a filter per room, if not it could be worth creating an issue for that.
