I understand that Home Assistant is not attempting to document the process of using UTM to install on Apple Silicon machines. That said, I think it would be helpful to add a small expansion to the existing note of
to help people understand that qcow2 format disk images of an aarch64 platform version of Home Assistant OS even exist.
I say this as someone who looked through this exact document, and converted the vmdk to qcow2 and got Home Assistant running as an Emulated x64_64 version before understanding that an aarch64 qcow2 image was even an available option. Knowing that would have made my install much easier!
My suggest would be to add a second sentence to this bullet here saying something like: "Note aarch64 QCOW2 images are available"
