I'm looking at the guide to install HAOS on x86. I may have missed it, but can you make it really, really obvious where to download HAOS. Searchin for "HAOS download" just has me going round in circles. I'm sure it's there somewhere but really, it isn't obvious. Also, having to login to GitHub to comment on your documentation... you're losing a lot of useful comments by setting up this barrier. If you want to increase the community, I'd suggest you find another way rather than restrict comments only to those who've slung code onto GitHub - hopefully I've missed something here but this is not open nor welcoming to a lot of the community and will not increase loyalty. Everyone starts as a noob.

Hi @drmalcs! I totally understand that you feel that way about getting started. Home Assistant is a complex project and the installation page primarily highlights the Raspberry Pi installation. However, when you go down to the "Generic x86-64" page, you'll find the download link for the HAOS installer img. I have to admit, it's quite hidden.

Here is the link: https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/generic-x86-64#to-install-haos-via-ubuntu-from-a-usb-flash-drive

Regarding the comments and the need for a GitHub account, it's just the way Open Source works. I'm not saying, its perfect, but since the entire community lives here on GitHub, it just makes sense to use GitHub comments for discussion. Alternatively, you can join the Home Assistant Discord Server for help and questions.
