Binary sensors: Exact meaning of "moving" and "running" unclear #35184

Feedback

The two binary sensor classes

are pretty unclear without a little bit of further explanation.

For "moving" I understand that the entity itself is moving? Compared to motion (detected in a room) which is unspecific?

But is running also referring to a motion or for a device that is "running"?

Perhaps you can add some footnotes to that list so this becomes clearer.

Additional information

Asking for the German UI translation I'm trying to improve and judging from the very inconsistent translations present till now the translator did not fully understand the meaning here either.
