Originally, you'd have to install Homebridge and then this plugin homebridge-homeassistant
. However, now that HomeKit has been added as a native component within Home Assistant, I'd recommend that route as it provides the same features (or will in the near future) and requires less setup.
Cheers, will look into this once I get home
I recently reinstalled Raspbian as I had issues with installing Home Assistant, so now I have Hassbian. I want to also provide Homekit support for my Apple devices, what is the best way to do this? Installing Homebridge separately and then installing this Home Assistant plugin, or using a Homebridge plugin for Home Assistant?
Really confusing! Thanks
