Same. FWIW, I've experienced this same error with both my Nabu Casa URL and the URL I use to expose the NGINX proxy in front of my HASS to the internet.
assuming your nginx proxy didn't have a valid cert. Since when i updated my nabu it was ok again (i did have a valid cert for my external ip)
I definitely have a valid cert.
Also getting the "Error sending significant location change lo..." not sure if it is related might be a dupe but initial post was new.
This is going to require a fix on the cloud infrastructure side as well as in the app. @balloob is looking into this one for me. Will keep you posted.
Just found out another thing. If you have Nabu casa remote url "disabled" in HA the ios app will still try to connect with it since i get an ssl error and it will hang on the sensors. When i turned on the remote url i was able to login. (have my own url already so never really used it only for google assistant and support)
that's it.. I was just reporting the same issue over a week. Your comment finaly allowed me to connect by the app for the first time.
@riemers That's also a known issue which cloud team is working on for me.
Any update on this? I'm having the same issue. Seems like it's not automatically renewing the cert? My subscription is current so I'm confused.

Please contact Nabu Casa if you experience SSL issues like the above.
So happens that my Nabu Casa expired. When that happened the app gives a certificate error (i presume that is from the nabu casa url at that point being no longer valid)
Didn't test if i start all over, but it should give a more meaningfull message. After i fixed my subscription with nabu it worked again just fine.
