@pvizeli I'm testing this locally, it looks like although TARGETPLATFORM is set based on what builder passes in for the platform its only available inside the FROM
. You can't use it in a FROM
statement to set the platform.
I also don't think the suggestion of always putting in the build platform (linux/amd64
) is going to work here. That failed too.
We might need to modify the builder to pass in the selected docker platform as a build arg. That way we can use that information in build stages like this one has. Right now I believe we only have access to BUILD_ARCH
which uses our architecture names, not the ones docker understands.
What do you think? Any other ideas here?
Or maybe an option to disable the platform feature
A newer version of home-assistant/builder exists, but since this PR has been edited by someone other than Dependabot I haven't updated it. You'll get a PR for the updated version as normal once this PR is merged.
