home-sweet-gnome / dash-to-panel

An icon taskbar for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash into the gnome main panel so that the application launchers and system tray are combined into a single panel, similar to that found in KDE Plasma and Windows 7+. A separate dock is no longer needed for easy access to running and favorited applications.

Feature request: Reorder windows within previews #1589

Describe the idea or feature you'd like It would be useful if a taskbar icon for an application has multiple windows in the preview and the order can be changed.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Sometimes, a specific order is preferred (for example if multiple file manager windows could be ordered aligned with another order)

I would really need this feature. I don't want isolated windows but ability to reorder preview windows so it better match my multi display workflow. On Windows there's the Windows 7 Tweaker i believe that enables this feature but it's on Windows, not on Linux / Gnome / Dash to panel.
