home-sweet-gnome / dash-to-panel

An icon taskbar for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash into the gnome main panel so that the application launchers and system tray are combined into a single panel, similar to that found in KDE Plasma and Windows 7+. A separate dock is no longer needed for easy access to running and favorited applications.

Almalinux 9.2 GNOME Shell 40.10 Dash to Panel 44 Installed from extensions.gnome.org

Expected behaviour: Dash to Panel should show list of Application Icons when "Show Applications button is pressed"

Actual behaviour: Dash to Panel should shows empty list of Application Icons when "Show Applications button is pressed"

Screenshot shows empty list of applications when dash to panel is enabled and after "show applications" button is pressed: Screenshot from 2024-07-30 23-48-11

Screenshot shows complete list of application icons when dash to panel is disabled and after "show applications" button is pressed and : Screenshot from 2024-07-30 23-48-48

Additional info: Re-installation, log-out/in, reboot, etc do not fix this issue

Maybe conflict with other extensions, disable all other extensions and then try again

thanks for the suggestion. tried it with a fresh brand new user account. it shows the application icons at first for a while, but after about 10 or 20 minutes when you go back to the all applications it's just blank.--Sent with GMX Mail appOn 8/4/24, 20:31 "奇异果" @.***> wrote:
