Hi @AnAnonymousUsername
Please report back after this is implemented in eufy-security-client. Then we can start working on it.
Support should be in the next release of eufy-security-client.
This is supported in eufy-security-client
now.

@AnAnonymousUsername, and this is partially supported by us as well as a camera ATM but no lock thanks for the article, really interesting. I will remove the bot
Has there been any progress on this one? I can get it added, but it only has "siren" and "switch" functionality. Can see the camera or operate the garage door.
@rpayne801 , you can get the camera stream if you update the version to v2.3.9 - hksv
. See RC Beta Version instructions, but substitute the beta w/ v2.3.9 - hksv
. I'm unable to use the timeline, just stream currently and it often crashes the eufy-security-client plugin, so would recommend running the plugin as a child bridge so it doesn't affect your other home bridge plugins. Also +1 on being unable to operate the garage door.
+1 on being able to control the garage doors and view open/closed status.

Same for me. I am using Version 4.2.2 Eufy Model T8452 Garage Control Cam (Firmware 1.2.3.4 07-25-2024) I notice the that eufy-security-client has Model T8452 Tested, but for Firmware 1.2.3.1 (20230521) I have asked that project what functionality was added on "[Feature request]: Support Garage-Control Cam" May 2023. Was is only the camera, or additional functionality as well.
I am able to stream video.
I am unable to do the following:
I would, respectfully, request that we get as much of the functionality as possible. Thank you for a fantastic product!

FYI I had asked Eufy when HomeKit support would be added (Apr 2024), Their response: "I understand your interest in integrating your eufy Garage-Control Cam with Apple HomeKit. Unfortunately, at the moment, the eufy Garage-Control Cam does not support Apple HomeKit. However, you can still use the eufy Security app to access and control your Garage-Control Cam. If you have other eufySecurity devices such as eufyCam 2 Series or Indoor Cam 2K Series, you can enjoy HomeKit features such as live streaming, snapshots, night vision, Siri control, and more. You can watch the live feed on the iOS Home App or use Siri to control your compatible eufySecurity devices."
Describe the solution you'd like
Please add support for the newly released Garage-Control Cam. When this was announced at CES 2022, it was going to support HomeKit natively, but now that it's actually available, it "currently" doesn't.
It looks like eufy-security-client doesn't support this device yet either, so I've opened bropat/eufy-security-client#219 there.
