Possible to set Govee scene from Siri without Hoobs and Eve? #716

Hi, at https://github.com/bwp91/homebridge-govee/wiki/Scene%2C-Music%2C-DIY-Modes/#step-2-configure-the-code you describe how to create an Eve button or a HomeKit switch to set the scene on a Govee light device.

Is it also possible to do so from Siri, just with Homebridge and homebridge-govee? That is, without having to sign up for Hoobs or installing Eve?

@bwp91, that was a serious question - sorry if I offended you with it, or something?

Hi @sixtyfive

sorry if I offended you with it, or something?

absolutely not at all! this issue just caught up and (unfortunately) closed quickly due to this:

So sorry about the mess there, so anyway,

The plugin works equally the same whether you are running homebridge by itself or if you are running HOOBS. There is no difference in functionality.

The plugin has recently been updated to allow for govee device scenes without the need for the Eve app, although I personally still prefer using the Eve app to set up this stuff.

The Eve app is free to download, does not require any sign up, and really can be considered a nice extension of the Home app.
