Homebridge cannot connect to Homekit or remotely #2065

Current Situation

I have had homekit for several years and recently updated my hardware to a newer raspberry pi 5 and now I cannot connect to any devices in my home from my phone. Initially I thought by removing the home from homekit and re-adding would work but now I get "Unable to add accessory... accessory is not reachable." therefore i cannot control anything anymore.

Sounds like a potential network connectivity issue, how was your older RPI connected versus the newer RPI.

Both were connected via ethernet cable to router. I set the static IP address which worked until a week or so ago but now its not.

I have it back connected now but it still will not expose my Nest thermostat now.... odd
