[4/12/2024, 5:38:40 PM] [Homebridge UI] [HapClient] Discovery :: Started
As it appears to have the same symptoms as #158
Has anything changed with your networking configuration ? Does the homebridge IP address in the UI panel look like a normal address for your network ?
Thank you for your fast reply! I didn't see anything strange, but I am away from my home, will confirm when I get back (I am not aware of any networking changes).
However, I was wondering what the parallels to 158 would be? In my case, it's not about homekit - the issue is that the accessories don't (even) appear in the homebridge accessories tab...
Initial triage on #158 showed that the HomeKit messages aren’t getting to the network. Which is similar to your symptoms, where it can’t find any instances.
Understood. As soon as I get back home, I'll investigate. Thank you for your support!
So - I've been checking. All my devices are on the same subnet, 192.168.1.x - server, phone, and all accessories I want to include with homebridge. What can I check next? Thanks for your support!
Does Synology have an avahi daemon installed ? Does it need to be stopped for Homebridge to work ?
Just stop the service, then try restarting homebridge and see if that works
PS I don't have a Synology so am just guessing at this point
Ok, tried that. Killed avahi-daemon, restarted but no change. Any other ideas?

Analysis
All of a sudden (no upgrades or system changes I could remember), my Somfy Blinds stopped working, and I realized that all my accessories have disappeared from the accessories tab. I run Homebridge native on a Synology DS920+, everything updated to the latest release (Synology, Homekit infrastructure consisting of AppleTV and various Homepods, Phone, Plugins etc. etc.).
I have completely deleted the Homebridge installation including directories, and reinstalled from scratch. No change. In the logs, I can't see any issues - Homebridge is detecting all Plugins and all connected accessories, but doesn't include them in the Accessories tab. I have scanned forums, but haven't found any indications that would have helped.
This setup has been working without any issues for months. Please help!
Expected Behavior
All accessories mentioned in the log appear in the accessories tab
Steps To Reproduce
Restart homebridge.

Additional Context
Have also found the following line in the log at times. Have googled extensively, but have not come across any clues on how to solve that...
