Observations:
it happens if any (?) GPIB instruments are connected and "experiment->begin" loop is running. Happens with SR830 or SR844. Maybe with LS340
Does not occur if MCC board only is in use
Does not occur if SR830s and LS340 are connected and their VI are displayed and updated, but "experiment status" is in "stopped" state
