Demo update #26

First of all, i think the demo may need some updating. After loading the extension, chrome states that i need to set the manifest_version image

and after doing that I see this next image

i'm not sure what the second screenshot means, i don't thin the backgroiund.html is loading because of that.

honestly BableExt hasn't been updated in quite some time.

Since Opera switched over to Chrome's extension format, and Firefox is moving that way too via WebExtensions API, BabelExt has slowly become obsolete. I should probably update the project (especially the readme) indicating as much.

With Safari's further divergence (and requirement of paying a $100/year fee to developer browser extensions), the only browser that would benefit from an abstraction framework like BabelExt has sort of alienated free / open source developers in a way that makes it not worth keeping BabelExt alive just to support that one outlier.

kasbah commented 8 years ago

xbacklight is what I often use to adjust brightness. I suppose the hard part is figuring out the pixels on the screen though.
