To add a class lesson, the user has to go on to NUSMods to check the CLASSNUMBER of the class they want to add.

Violation of project guideline wrt minimal network

nus-pe-bot commented 1 year ago

Team's Response

Thank you for your bug report. As stated in the project guideline, this is project guideline recommendation that the product uses minimal network.

Our team's interpretation of minimal network was that there will not need to be constant API calls to NUSMods to add all the modules a user takes, but instead a single loading of the NUSMods webpage to see which classes they have for that semester and add it accordingly. Minimal Network does not equate to no network at all, and we believe that the loading of a single webpage should not contribute much to the network congestion.

As such, we this is out of scope as it is not a violation of any guideline and sticks well within the recommendations for the TP.
