It might not be appropriate to restrict users to have to specify a time. This feature is good to have, but should not be enforced on the user.

Team's Response

Event scheduling is one feature of TinS. Thus, we designed it such that the user will have to specify a time for Start and End dates so that it would allow us to detect any clashes with our clash function, which is an important feature for event schedules in our opinion. Also, this design decision was made with reference to existing calendar applications, where events recorded will have a time component too.
