as a short term fix in order to stop my syslog server from getting flooded I edited the /etc/systemd/system/hoobs.service file and modified RestartSec to 3600 seconds. I'm not sure what the error is from, but it doesn't appear to be critical as hoobs appears to be functioning fine. I can access the GUI and control my devices.
