Hello,
Hopefully this youtube video below will be able to walk you through this process:
@zzack01 could you please take a look at the screen shots and video that I have shared that shows the error messages that happen when following the personalisation steps that are in that video?
I am reporting a bug, not soliciting tutorials.
Hello,
You need to do the second part to see the background, please watch the video the second part starts at 58 seconds
Another issue may be the file size, can you resize to a smaller size and try again?

Since uploading a background is unsuccessful, enabling the background only shows the built-in hoobs background.
Another issue may be the file size, can you resize to a smaller size and try again?
This issue occurs with both jpg and png images. I've tested with images as small as 30kB.
I've reproduced this error when running Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
Are you running a HOOBS™ box or your own setup?
@zzack01 I am running a HOOBS box.
Great, please open a new ticket below:
Description Uploading a custom image to personalise the dashboard fails.
In detail: When uploading an image from the "..." overflow menu > "Personalise" section, an error occurs during upload:
This results in the bridges visibly going down. The upload dialog remains in place still indicating that an upload is in progress despite the failure occurring.
