unable to start hoobs service #993

unable to start hoobs service.... I am able to login to server via laptop but not via app or browser on the phone. service is not starting and so nothing works Log pasted below....

Error: The requested platform 'SmartThings-v2' was not registered by any plugin

Check your config. Do you have the smart things v2 plugin installed?

Also please use the issue templates. It asks for information that helps us diagnose your issue.

Yes i had everything working with smarthings... now its not

According to your logs, it says you have smartthings in your configuration file (you can see it by clicking the Advanced tab in the HOOBS settings), but you don't have the SmartThings plugin installed. Can you check if it's actually installed? If it isn't then install the plugin. If it's already installed, try uninstalling it then make sure to remove any smartthings related configuration from the Advanced tab if it doesn't get auto removed when uninstalling the plugin. Then simply reinstall the plugin and configure it.

This is also happening to me as well. This happens after updating to version 2.3.5 of the plug-in. I believe there is a bug in the plug-in. Someone needs to roll-back the update.

yes and now it shows there new version available but its not updating to that.

What version is it showing? mine still shows 2.3.5 is the most recent version.

Yes 2.3.5 Mine is on 2.3.4 and its not upgrading to latest...

Interesting mine was on 2.3.4 and worked fine. Started having the issue when I upgraded to 2.3.5.

You can downgrade the plugin with this command

cd ~/.hoobs
npm install homebridge-smartthings-v2@2.3.4

However the plugin dev want's you to use his new plugin. So you can backup your config. Then uninstall SmartThings V2 Then install SmartThings.
