see https://github.com/gr2m/hoodie-plugin-backbone. Once done I'd move the repo to hoodiehq and remove this repo and the npm package. Any objections?

Why wouldn't you just publish a new release on this repo?

Because the name of the github repo & npm package change as it's now a Hoodie plugin. I thought deprecating this repo with instructions on how to move to the new plugin would be best for existing users, too.
