1 year ago I did a quick mockup of what this might look like. The header area looks pretty big, but you'll need to be able to press the reload button, and it's a similar size to other widgets. How it is separated from the rest doesn't really matter. I have done this here with a dash, but perhaps there are some components for this. If more space is needed in the header, you could of course also shorten " Donnerstag" to "Do". Then you could, for example, add buttons to change the day.
Since the meals displayed do not always correspond to the current date (e.g. at the weekend or after the cafeteria is closed), it would be important to make this clear in the widget. For example, by simply displaying the date.
