Description

The Horilla Mail Server authentication method is outdated and can no longer be used for Microsoft 365. The newer methodology involves the use of modern authentication.

As tested, Microsoft 365 accounts no longer have "app password" as sign-in method.

Excerpt from link: "The deprecation of basic authentication also prevents the use of app passwords with apps that don't support two-step verification."

suggestion: setup postfix + oauth+ dovecot auth..... then relay to google or m365
