How to approve leave through approval of two people #333

How to approve leave through approval of two people (like two managers or two department heads) on Horilla system

Describe the solution that you would like. Confirm and approve the leave request from the first approver (which could be a manager or supervisor). Perform the “Approve” or “Accept” action.

Wait for approval from the second approver:

Once the first approver has approved, the request will be forwarded to the second approver (which could be a higher manager or another authorized person). Make sure this person also reviews and approves the request.

Track and confirm the status:

Track the status of the leave request to make sure both approvers have approved it. The system can update automatically when the request is accepted.

Hi @loanduong02 ,

In Horilla, by default, when an employee requests leave, the employee's reporting manager or the super admin can approve or reject the request, and the status automatically updates based on their action.

However, some companies require multiple approvals for leave requests that exceed 2 or 3 days. In such cases, you can use the 'Multiple Approval Condition' feature in Horilla.

To set this up go to Horilla > Configuration > Multiple Approval Condition:

If a super admin approves the request, all other managers in the hierarchy will automatically approve it as well.

Hi @loanduong02 , In the current version, only a single condition is allowed. But we are adding option for more condition in future updates/ version. We have it on our future features roadmap.
