@carrotIndustries I added a Why another EDA package and a Goals and Non-Goals page to the About section, I thought on something like the stuff that you said in the last (or was it the first?) talk. The Goals and Non-Goals thing is good for expectation managment in any open source project, I didn't write anything, because I feel this is more for you to decide. You once said you explicitly don't want a circuit simulation functionality for example.
I added some stuff to the Feature Overview page, expanded the Getting Started thing into a little introduction, wrote the whole Basic Editor Usage section and resorted the pool section (still not totally finished tho). I generally added a ton of screenshots, and gifs. At some point I had to use a mp4 because the gifcam couldn't pick up what was happening on the canvas and I had to resort to OBS and there was no way to compress it to animated gif without either having a 30MB image or a quality so bad that you couldn't read the text anymore. MP4 is generally better suited for moving things anyways, so I used .. raw:: html and a HTML5 video tag for it.
The biggest missing sections are the Schematic Editor and the Board Editor (a lot of this stuff is covered in Getting started already).
Awesome, I've merged this so we can have a look at in on readthedocs and I'll go on adding my content. Feel free to continue working on your branch, I'll continue applying the changes to my wip branch.
I am still working on it, there is... a lot
