Support Cardano Network #4891

Open ezxpro opened 2 years ago

ezxpro commented 2 years ago

Same case as https://github.com/horizontalsystems/unstoppable-wallet-android/issues/4890

Its a major network, ADA is one of the biggest figures in crypto, so it would be nice to have this network supported.

ezxpro commented 2 years ago

@FrankDev34 wait, I didn't get it why i should contact Cardano support to ask for it yo be integrated into Unstoppable.

Could you elaborate, please?

ezxpro commented 2 years ago

@FrankDev34 anything to say yet? I honestly did not understand your point and was expecting a follow up.

Thanks.

Hi @ezxpro we do plan to add it. At the moment there are other priorities though which keep us busy. Next two sprints. 2-4 months, we are already fully booked. Hopefully we can get on it right after. We try to prioritize blockchains based on the amount of development on them. Currently, next in line are Solana and Avalanche.

Ok, I see your point. I remember there was an issue here where there were several checkboxes showing kinda of a roadmap, showing what's implemented, what's not, but i couldn't find it. does that still exist?

Btw, i have 2 questions. One is that i see you guys are doing an impressive job, so it got me curious about how you guys get funded.

Second question is about unstoppable premium. I've seen several commits about it and it got me wondering what are the plans looking forward. I'd gladly become a pro user ince it comes out. Thanks.

Sorry for delayed reply :) We have been prepping for release.

1) We are self funded for the time being. Hopefully we can monetize this year. It took us a while to get the fundamentals in place before we could start working on monetization features. Multi chain wallet is fairly sophisticated product and in order to iterate faster in the future we put a lot of emphasis on software architecture.

2) Unstoppable premium enables access to premium features like on chain analytics, decentralized RPC endpoints, algortihmic coin rations based on chain data (like active addresses, tx counts etc etc), unchain yield options and so on . There is a lot more. The first premium features are expected to go live in 0.26. The plan is to gradually expand the premium options with every release.

Looking forward for you becoming a PRO user ;)
