Integrate chart indicators to app charts #6042

on latest version 0.31, the indicators seem to have been removed: MACD, RSI, EMA maybe accidentally or was it on purpose?

as feedback: the 3 indicators were great. i would however shift the chart slightly to the left instead of letting present time hit the right most of the enclosing box. this way it will be more easier to see indicators values and easilly slide through hours/days/.. up to present time without actually touching the edge of the phone. also on curved phones it is difficult to see present time which hits the edge and image gets curved. giving some space after present time, will also allow space for prediction indicators to project chart into the future

besides this it would be nice to have some other indicators (eg. stochastic rsi, vwap, Fibonacci Bollinger Bands, oscillators etc.)

Hi. Is there an estimate for when this feature is going to return to the app. I miss it very much, as a matter of fact i rolled back to older version not even present on f-droid anymore just for this feature.

from your link i can see this feature is going to be locked under paywall for premium users...which is such bad news.

i found more details about how unstoppable is planning to make money on https://unstoppable.money/faq

it would be nice to have more details in this issue rather than having to find them myself. I really hope that this awesome project will not follow the path of greed. there is no app like this and it should be fully open and free for anyone, but should accept donations.

  • how can users know that other features won't be locked in the future as well?
  • how will the payment for premium be performed? is it going to use google playstore for paymeny or crypto or other services? if using third parties will imply security and privacy issues
  • which will be the licensing model? 1 license for multiple devices or just for one or per account? is there going to require an account creation?

hi, thanks for the input. We are experimenting with monetization and so far aiming to add analytics and indicators under a paywall. There will be more features in the future. We don not plan on cutting any essential features that are currently present. Unfortunately, donations alone are unlikely to cover our running costs as we are a 13 people full time team.

Currently we are considering only onchain payment options. The payments for unlocking premium features would be done via our smart contract on Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. We'll see how it goes.

We hear your feedback regarding indicators and do plan on making basic version free. The basic version would be even better than ones we had earlier. We are redoing them from scratch at this point.

Please provide us your EVM address for lifetime free access. we announced that on Twitter and providing lifetime free access to our first premium users.

sure thing, basically we have a smart contract that's responsible for handling subscription payments. The contract went online few days ago and currently being tested. It mainly allows us to define various subscription plans. The wallet app checks with the smart contract whether the user's EVM address is present among those who bought subscription on the contract. If so, the app then able to retrieve analytics data from our backend server.

Apart from that contract has two other essential features:

1- allows us to whitelist any address for unlimited access. That's what we offered to you and some other users.

2- allows someone (ex: influencers) to be our reseller and get a share (up to 50%) from each sale.

At the moment the premium data is mostly about getting free access to premium analytics but in the coming weeks we intend to expand that with more perks i.e.:

From my understanding, there will be a monthly subscription to unlock these features, and if I buy premium for the first month now during the beta stage, I will no longer have to pay the subscription but will have access to all features indefinitely.

What I did not understand is why/when/where should I provide the EVM address if I cannot purchase premium yet? What am I missing? Is this beta signup documented anywhere more in detail? Also which will be the price for the monthly subscription (if yet decided)?

hi there, for the time being the new indicators (currently in the works) will remain available only to PRO users. We do intend to make them partially free but this needs some more work on our end. You're welcome to send us the Ethereum address for one of your wallets and we will add you to the whitelist which will give you free access to PRO version.

I think this is the right way and I am extremely grateful for choosing the right approach. Do you intend to keep these features free in the future as well ?
