US images in green #364

Open crlagos0 opened 6 years ago

crlagos0 commented 6 years ago

Hi, I have this issue and I don't know how to fix it in Horos:

I imported DICOM files of some US images from thyroid biopsies, but HOROS is showing them in green. I tried with some other files as CT scans or MRI, but I didn't have that problem. Interestingly, US images from standard examinations didn't show that issue, except in those with colour-doppler in which I had the same problem.

I tried changing almost every configuration, re installed the software, downloaded last version, but it was imposible to fix. Also I tested importing DICOM files in other different computers with Horos installed, but same issue was present. Surprisingly, when importing those files to OsiriX Lite, I could see US images perfectly in grayscale.

Since I isolated every posible factor involved, I think the only logic conclusion is that there is a problem with Horos software reading these images, which is a big problem since it is imposible to see properly US-doppler studies nor biopsies.

I send you the anonymized pictures.

PS: I also tried with images obtained with other US machines from other vendors, but same problem.

Thanks a lot for some help. fullsizeoutput_3 fullsizeoutput_4

Hi,

Thanks for using Horos.

Please try this nightly build that solves a problem with color coding too (#332): https://horosproject.org/horos-content/Horos3.1.2_Nightly20180704.dmg

If it doesn't solve your problem, you can anonymize in Horos (open the Meta-Data to see which field is the one you removed in the jpegs above and then add it to be changed or excluded in the Anonymization panel) an send to us.

Best,

Tiago

Same issue with a US study (color doppler incl.) with v3.3.3. Let me know where/how to share - I can send you the data.

I have the same problem. Any solution so far?

I have the same problem with Horos 4.0.0. Ideas? Solutions?

It seems like this might be an issue with screen capture images. I'm having green images appear for VRT images, MRS images, and MR perfusion images. Running 4.0.0 RC5

This may be related to Issue #507 A comment on that issue helped as a workaround for my problem series:

We encounter something similar sometimes, and use the following steps to fix:

  1. Right click on the affected series and click 'Compress DICOM files'
  2. (Optional) Right click on the affected series and click 'Decompress DICOM files'
  3. Right click on the affected series and click 'Rebuild selected thumbnails'

This worked for me.

Is this going to be fixed in the future?
