Bad appleId/ password or not an iCloud account? #69

Hi. This is usually because the account is not a valid iCloud account. Either it's not fully activated, or so old that you need to accept new terms of service in which case it's unlikely to have iOS9+ backups.

Can you confirm that you actually have iOS9+ backups on that account?

Are you able to download backups using other recovery tools?

Apple have recently updated their security protocols and it's possible this the cause.

I would suggest uploading a backup and then trying again.

Hi. Please do not post confidential details. In future you can email me at horrorhorrorho@gmail.com. I've edited your reply.

Neither of the accounts are valid. One has been locked and the other's password is incorrect. Please change your passwords/ unlock your accounts.
