Request for adding the input prepend/append support in the "password" #11

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.6.1

Please provide any additional information below.
In the 1.6.1 release, we could able to add input prepend/append icon very 
easily. However, I found that this feature is only supported in <textfield>.
I am wondering if it could be also applied in <password>.
